Bread
Bread is Miden’s self-custody wallet. It’s a sibling brand built to make private, on-chain money feel as approachable as a Japanese payments app. As Head of Design, I created the brand from scratch and led the product design across every core wallet flow.
Brand
I positioned Bread as the opposite of the dark, cyber look most ZK products use. It’s MUJI-quiet and warm, with a terracotta orange and muted pastels set on cream, plus soft squircle forms. The marketing side draws on Japanese poster traditions: flat color fields and riso grain.
Product
I designed and prototyped the full wallet in interactive HTML: on-ramp and off-ramp, swap, send, receive, bridge, pending states and note consumption. Each flow was built to make self-custody feel domestic rather than technical.
